Your Note 9 has already got its 2 major Android upgrades, same with Note 8 with two major Android upgrades. There's nothing special to "figure-out", it's what Samsung's upgrade cycle is, in fact, it was already expected that it won't be upgrading to Android 11. You're not a special snowflake.

                  My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has better hardware but, still didn't make the list for Android 11 with one ui 3.0 go figure.
