I believe that adding a face id means only one thing - it will collect even more info that it did before. I hate all these so-called "security means" which do exactly another thing. I don't want to share my phone to have a 2FA and I don't want to let my phone do so many photos that will be also stored on servers. The best decision for me is Utopia p2p - no data collection, impossible to hack and absolutely anonymous. Think of your data, please. Don't let big corporations make money on us.

The cure will be mandatory, providing cure for you and DNA mining opportunity for whoever! I don't know about conspiracy story etc! But i believe in the paper trail! Who benefits the most! Most probably orchestrated it! Facebook last data mining enough is laughable! I will definitely change to open source, end to end encryption with anonymous sign up!

Facebook WhatsApp = data CIA ( central information accounts) = mark Zuckerberg , if you have an account wa,fb,if = you have no secrete no more. Adding a Biometric= for me, it's crazy.

Sneaky. Here was I thinking I will uninstall WhatsApp on my phone & continue just using on the Web. Now they want me not to delete app on phone so that it can continue doing it's thing collecting data by forcing me to authenticate web logins with installed app on phone. BIG NO

Now Zuck wants our fingerprint data, no thanks. They have a history of being sneaky with data collection, even if it is said it is only stored on the phone, i wouldnt trust anything facebook. They are as bad as chinese companies

You can do the encryption by yourself, but you cannot stop data collection and I mostly care the latter. Makes me wonder why any Linux OS software centre downloads have Telegram in the catalogue.

But places like 23&me and ancestry got that base covered. People will be trolling less if they understood how these DNA "matching" firms are using that treasure trove of hard-to-get personal data to do everything from engineering designer molecules for some of the biggest names in ailments without cutting the DNA "Donor" a single dollar's worth of a cheque. And also using it for establishing mapping and tracing networks.
I can't help but wonder how people can so carelessly throw away their personal data rights all in the name of convenience, FOMO, or just some other senseless BS reason.

But then again, nobody wants to get in touch with me, so I am ok in this regard. Lol.
Now, as a funny thing, Whatsapp is safer than Telegram (Whatsapp has end to end encryption enabled by default, Telegram doesn't, you need to manually start "secret chat" each time you want to talk to somebody). On the other hand Telegram doesn't share your data with anybody, unlike Whatsapp.
