What I care for is price to performance and in this category there's no wireless headphones that will win over the wired ones.

imparanoic, 01 Feb 2021this is what i use for audio, i don't use a phone for... moreGiven that high end DAPs run Android these days, DAP makers could make a DAP android phone. It'll be pricey, thick and heavy but it could be done.

im satisfied using sony xb700 wat a superb bass sound

this is what i use for audio, i don't use a phone for music, high resolution audio player sony nw-zx100 with 256gb storage, with astell and kern michelle limited, but i also use wired AKG k551 at home,
but on my phone, while i don't listen to music, i use ibasso DC02 usb type c to 3.5mm which sounds rather decent (better than nearly every phone except onkyo dp-cmx1), but i also use wireless sony wh-1000xm3 via ldac on my phone or high resolution audio player, i also have astell and kerm xb10 which supports 3.5mm unbalanced and 2.5mm balanced

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2021According to the poll results, 59% use wired headphones, ye... moresony xperia 1 ii, sony xperia 5 ii, and forthcoming sony xperia 1 iii, are flagships with 3.5mm unbalanced headphone jack, also supports ldac and aptx hd for wireless high bitrate audio.

I am hoping that sony will eventually release an audiophile flagship with 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced output next year or 2023

              I use the Sony wf-1000XM3 in-ear buds.
I’ve had them for about half a year and the sound quality is excellent, they are easy to use, the eq options are fun to tinker with, the battery life will last me about 2 days with my constant use and the noise canceling is very good (and I usually use them in a very noisy environment.
I only have one issue, recently the right earbud became significantly quieter than the left and it is making them unusable. I have made sure they are up to date, done factory resets and everything but they still have that issue (I am using the latest IOS14). So before I send them off to be repaired, does anyone know how this can be fixed as to save me some time? If so I wold be very grateful!

According to the poll results, 59% use wired headphones, yet there isn't a single "flagship" with a headphone jack.

Pathetic. They're mocking us, because we continue to buy their junk.

Kingslayer, 31 Jan 2021So true. Sony is the one brand I've never hated in ... morei can kinda agree with that. sony do seem to have problems with giving firmware updates to older models basically on everything they make: some are less noticeable like on the headphones and TV's, but its way more noticeable on the phones and cameras for example. my a6000 still isnt able to be used as a webcam (with usb) even though its completely just a software problem, while my xb900n haven't been updated in a year but i couldn't care less.

I gotta say that my Skullcandy HESH 2.0 are pretty amazing for bluetooth over ear. I Choose those 100% of the time I travel in public. People can easily see them and don't accidentally interrupt. Before that I had some on ear cheap cheap plastic things that surprisingly sounded good. Model AB010T, no idea brand.
I carry some Mpow M9's now in my lunch kit, before that was Beats Solo Tour 3 (cheap chinese knockoffs).
And if I'm cutting grass or using loud lawn care equipment it's the wired headphones I've had for 100 years.

"What do you mean you didn't hear me, maybe if you wouldn't listen to music all god d@m day....."
And the kicker is when you pull it off your ear and say "what was that?"

In-ear Neckband Bluetooth earphones(Oneplus Bullets Wireless Z) when I'm going out for a walk with my pets or helping my father at our farm cause they don't get in my way like the wired ones and gives way better battery life unlike the true wireless.

Wired headset all the way when I'm on a couch or lying on the bed or playing multiplayer games.

Not sure whether the poll can reflect my choices properly or not. However, I use TWS AirPods for portable & casual listening.

For some serious music listening I always resort to my wired Sennheiser 598 clubbed with my LG G8x.

Have just finished ordering the Modi + Magni stack along with the drop 6xx to upgrade my current setup.

Also own the Fiio F9 Pro, Beyerdynamics 770 Pro & the Fiio Q1 MII DAP.

                                  Tried them, lacks proper sound.

Over-ear noise-cancelling headphones have been my staple for a long time now, especially as I find background noise a genuinely disabling experience sometimes with my autistic sensory issues. My main pair are Sony XM2s, but I often use them in wired mode plugged into my laptop.
