This may not be a bad idea. It'll probably be like Samsung working with Apple to make iPhones.

Just remember what happened to Beats though. Learn from them. They’re not the premium brand as before and you know why..

Of course Hyundai should cooperate with Apple - they know it's not going to be long term relationship as Apple typically squeeze out all the profits. Just make sure it's side hustle and doesn't heavily rely on Apple partnership like foxconn. In as much as Apple helps to kill Tesla, it's will be good for Hyundai.

Beware of getting involved with US tech companies, they and their govt will destroy you when their is an inkling of disagreement and sanction and tariff the foreign company out of existence.

Don't do it boys, tell apple to go take a hike. They will throw you to the wolves first chance they get, nice to see their patriotism at work..

autonomous traffic must be handled by worldwide international government, all government must comply to agree on uniform standardizations, and none of private sector can dictate even single standardization

private sectors must submit standardization to be reviewed by international government consortium and all submitted standardizations will be property of international government consortium, none of the standardization's both physical and logical proof shall be stored in private sectors

that should provide safety to all kinds of traffics ... sea, air, and land

while space traffic ... earth must join the intergalactic consortium ... if such consortium is presence ... who knows ...

Even if Hyundai pulls out there will be a line of others wanting to work with Apple. Hyundai needs Apple more than Apple needs them.

Get out of this cooperation Hyundai, it's never end good when someone hooked up with a (modern dictatorship regime) government supported business 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

People mock Hyundai a lot of time because of cars from ages ago (which are a total opposite of that today), but they are a huge company and their motor company division is not the only part. They also have Hyundai Heavy Industries division as well as Hyundai Electronics which partially operates under SKHynix which is more familiar among tech enthusiasts. They make everything from entertainment devices to home appliances, cars, construction machinery and even shipyards. Just Motor Company has like 93 billion revenue and the info is from 2019... Which might not sound like a lot compared to Apple's 274 billion (2020), but that's just their Motor Company division. Their Heavy industries adds up another 40 billion, SKHyunix another 35 billion and they have bunch of other operations which add up to insane numbers. Hyundai and Samsung are Korea's super giants and while they may not have the "prestige" of Apple, they are a huge thing on a global scale. And the thing with giants is they tend to work poorly among each other. So, seeing this divide and conflicts is not really an unexpected thing if you ask me...

Remember what Apple did to Intel.
Hyundai will get the same treatment.

Hindustan Motors would be glad to work with Apple.

'who is not a Volkswagen executive' or who actually IS one or sarcasm?

Is not a company in the world that really wants to work with apple, they doing business like no other, they really think they are God, and we know from history what happened with people that play as God !

Hyundai Motor Co Group Is just being on guard with making business with Apple. They learn from what Apple did with their partners especially those who’ve been bought by them. Think it’s a gamble for both parties nevertheless.

isn't apple a US based company? don't they care about their citizens like other countries? don't they have billions of dollars to start their own car company in the US to create jobs locally? Why did cook ignore Elon's offer? opps, no need to answer that last question, the un-professional ignore tactic by cook was out of immature spite. not very smart that kook. apple would have been a much better company if Jobs hadn't passed away at such an early age. sad.

Just the news of working with Apple is enough to send your market value up 30%. This is just a different way of staying in the headlines and letting everyone know you’re working with Apple.
