Take the iPhone 4, a single core, 3 5" screen with fixed storage that cost s more than say a galaxy s2, which had higher hardware specifications. Ios strong point is optimization. Your 3gs runs smooth because the os was tweaked to make the most out of it's resources (which is something Android hadn't quite managed). Apple doesn't market for the masses, and you can see that in their prices.

Unless they pull a miracle from under their sleeve, which I highly doubt. And of course you can buy a 64 Gb high end droid, attach a 64 Gb microSD to it and even end up with 50 Gb in Dropbox for 2 years, to bring the whole deal to about ~170Gb of user available storage.
As for the 128 Gb iphone, I just have a feeling that Apple don't wanna be left behind on the storage department (even when they want to promote iCloud), that's why my guess goes to a 128 Gb top tier version. Is that mere speculation? Well yes, it is.

Besides, I’m dreadfully waiting for WP8 so that I can switch over to Nokia again since they are hardware genius and genuine God of mobile phones, other are just the followers! On the other hand, the only manufacture that essentially brings the best in devices at this moment in time is Samsung! I’m currently using SGS3 and if a Lumia phone fails to compete again, I may chose to go with Note 2. Well, I have cash to get iPhone 5 but like I said, a smart person knows what he wants from his phone for the reason that phones these days are more than just games and calls and texts, they have to be business constructive too. Nokia serves the business purpose, but to an extent, Samsung are the current rulers of market. Though they filch designs but for me it’s called inspiration and then to bring something better! Well, I must say its US monopoly over rounded corners and nothing besides that, or else jurors from other parts of the world would have seen what US jurors saw! Well, coming to the fact of Cupertino based Apple Inc, they are running out of innovation and but their marketing strategy and line of attack is truly remarkable and laudable. So apple is not device, but Marketing genius! Nokia is the hardware genius and Samsung right now rules innovation section, even though some people allege it to be infringing on apple’s patent.

I think the Iphone 5 will have 2 versions, one with 32 GB and one with 64 GB. Well, they are in front of Android with flash storage, but don't forget Android is newer, and you can already buy a phone with 64 GB.

Shut up and take my money Apple! In fact it will be a gift for my wife's birthday, she want something with a diamond, but it's way too difficult for me to find exactly what she likes. So, an iPhone 5 she'll get and she will like it.

I hope you got that the "\S" at the end of the post stands for Sarcasm. And having 128Gb storage requires a 128Gb nand unit or a way to combine 2 64Gb nands, which I don't see as a mind blowing move. And Apple's hardware has indeed been ahead of Android's in terms of flash storage.

Based on what? How this shows. Im still using iPhone 3GS which is way more powerful than you would think when reading specs.
How the phone which run perfectly smooth, run every games perfectly smooth, works fast is underpowered?

Cant get enough watching android and apple fans fighting while I'm enjoying my lumia. I think it will be a major player in the the next year or so

again an awaited device iphone5 yet to come but if this apple comes with a lower specs then sgs3 or galaxy note 2 then samsung is going leave apple way behind because consumers now want some really outstanding thing from apple. if apple announces some thing really expensive and with specs lower then sgs3 and with 4" inch screen then sorry no more apple then samsung all the way.

Their marketing is pure genious though, they have managed to sell a phone that is underpowered at twice the price of their competitors. I'm not an apple fan, but I do admire their marketing. Personally Im a Nokia fan, but I'll switch to an xperia s once I manage to get enough cash for it..

september 12 and the 5 might mean that the will announce 5 new devices? iPhone 5, iPad mini, iPod touch, iPod nano and the new iPad (updated version?) or something that no one expects. Maybe even the iTV lol

cause Customers will stand in line and pay a lot for a overpriced phone..
