In one ui once you turn off recommendations, there is hardly any ads. But galaxy store app is annoying and it updates apps without informing. In one ui samsung also installs some apps automatically and good thing that u can uninstall them immediately.

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2021AFTER YEARS OF COMING XIAOMI ppl still have question abo... moreLook, we have the Xiaomi hater up to his usual shenanigans of spreading lies again! The investment ban doesn't affect Google services since it is only limited to US companies not allowed to invest in Xiaomi. Tbh it is a loss for the Americans since Xiaomi's market share is increasing every year and many US companies want to invest in Xiaomi. Qualcomm has significant shares in Xiaomi and already lobbying for the Biden administration to reverse Trump's petty order. So, too bad for you that your hate for Xiaomi is not going anywhere.

I saw a few reviews on YouTube and the common thread seems to be that while the hardware offered is great for the price (at least thats the perception in western countries), the phone lags and is slow.
So what's killing it? I feel the answer is MIUI. Over the years Xiaomi has added so many features and so many animations to MIUI to make it a 'polished' software, that it's seems it is no longer suitable for budget devices.
The 662 processor in itself is not the worst. But if you see the kind of lags seen the in videos, then it just means the skim is too heavy for the processor. Maybe a new UI for budget devices might be a better idea.

AnonD-896879, 02 Feb 2021Samsung has more ads in one ui han miuiWrong. I can say this after having used Samsung for many many years (till 2012) having used Xiaomi for few years (2013-2020) and having switch back to Samsung post 2020.
Samsung One UI is nowhere as bad as MIUI in terms of ads and privacy issues. Period!
