Anonymous, 03 Feb 2021Pixel and QC issues, name me a more iconic duo. You'd expect the makers of Android (Google) to have the best experience and least issues when building their own phone since they are the makers of the OS, one would assume with most experience and most expertise in integration. Instead it's the exact opposite. Almost every other Android phone maker has far less issues and they make like 10 new phone models every month. Google only has like 2-3 every year and they can't even do that right and then take months to fix most mundane basic problems. It's just beyond baffling.

I loved my Pixel 2XL, this Pixel 4a 5g phone is an exercise in what not to do when buying a phone. Google has lost its way, even the killer photos wont make up for bad UI, unreliable bluetooth, and in general the 4a 5G phone that works worse than a iPhone 7 which I have to use to simply listen to music and take calls on gVoice via a hotspot while commuting... Who cares if its fast if the audio is crackling or drops the connection then comes back. This stuff is not ok nor should Google expect us rank and file IT in the field to support them anymore with our preferences on browsers and services unless they start putting some effort into their "shine" on their hardware too.

So every time they issue a security update they break something, which they fix in the next security update which breaks something else, and this continues ad infinitum giving their security updates department an endless amount of work and making it appear as if their security updates are necessary.

If there isn't an hardware issue, it won't be an Pixel!
