The hype for this S21 series is very strong, Samsung must be paying a lot of money to reviewers and youtubers to make people believe these (chargerless, without headphones or adapters or cases) new phones are so exceptional. And it looks like this year a plastic back on a premium asking price phone is totally acceptable while last year it was blasphemy on the Note20 (youtubers were advising people to rather go for the Note20 Ultra)

This is good for OLED as OLED in general has a peak brightness problem

Android still reds to gt variable refresh rate right.
It must go from 1 Hz to 120 Hz on a given application, which it's not doing properly.
It must sync frequency with the max fps of the display.
For example it's impossible to display 120fps even in homescreen , so then it must switch to the maxof what the GPU is capable of.

So... it seems like with the previous S-series. S5 (upgraded version of S4), S7 (upgraded version of S6), S9 was better ver. of S8, and now we have S21 series, which are improved than S20 series. It's probably the tactic of Samsung :)
