This stealing ideas thing is such a stupid argument, Apple's spends so much on RND that other companies wait for them to finish whatever they're working on and go "hippity boppity your research is my property" you seriously think any Chinese/Japanese/Korean (Except Samsung)/American has the hardware design capabilities Apple has? you'd be fooling yourself thinking so.
Apple is a f$$king trend setter, we think other manufacturers started removing items from their boxes to save money and forgot that ALL manufactures use mostly the same suppliers therefore when Apple starts removing crap from their shipped products others have to follow suit because the suppliers themselves would have to reevaluate their costs.
You seriously think a bajjlion dollar company like Apple doesn't have plans for the next 5-10 product cycles? The idea of the notch was probably in design 3 years before Essential was even conceived, IOS features, device materials, etc...
They're bad because of their bullshit views against right to repair, they're hilarious marketing shams, the virtue signalling and the god awful statements like "you're holding it wrong", that's what you call them for not for some bogus a$$ reason "uga buga they teiifff haha dei steel loser compani heheh"

Steal and copy almost every idea and product they have. Even steal the names apple, iPhone, and iPad from existing companies just cause they wanted to. Copy their designs and features from others. Then go to court to do others for "copying" them. And claim stealing is wrong....

I'm waiting for the day this company is wiped out of existence. Will be the best day for tech world. All they do these days, is copy, steal and introduce worse trends in the market while further overpricing their products.
