What has axing the Chinese has to do... morehe probably means that since the us is axing foreign companies, example huawei, that that's the reason there's a shortage because in reality a manufacturer like huawei has lots of factories and as such could help qualcomm recover from a shortage since they could come to some sort of agreement to have Qualcomm use the same factories huawei uses to make their kiring chipsets, which also in reality have a way bigger manufacturing capacity since huawei is basically a super competitor of other manufacturers of devices

                  Common sense, open any phones and the engineering knows to keep SOCs away from others.

                    Some kernels ROMs will let the CPU GPU reach maximum 100% and not throttle but get hotter . Some don't even reach maximum 80% and throttle at 75% , blame the kernels and governors on the settings, not the CPU GPU .

                      it reduces its performance to try and control the heat and reduce it as best possible this is called thermal throttling.

                      so if the chip in an x brand phone is the same as another x brand and 1 ran hotter than the other it means that the brand that managed to reduce the temp did a bettwer job of spreading the heat or getting rid of it and the other company did a bad job at it

While samsung prefers better battery life at the cost of performance. It might not be a fault for some people if they want that extra fps.

                              Weather 40 celsius is not gonna harm your phone.
                              But 40 degrees inside or more surely will.

                                Qualcomm made a chip error when msking the 820.
                                I've rooted my S21ULTRA to max all 8 socs to 3.0ghz, even the Gpu too 1300mhz , I'm getting 40% super fast transition than the trashhhh shty standard S21U. It's super zippy.
                                Im getting 70fps on games. Tge Cpu governors always idols at 80% at 1800mhz, that draws 40 % more battery making the S22U a 3700mah, but don't give rats, I've got 3000mah powerbank, snd even 3000mah phone lasts long.
                                The S21ULTRA reaches 50 degrees, 50 Celsius, and it does not throttle, so you are talking BS, bogus clsims off yours.
                                The 820 had problems, no other cpu did.

                                  Yea you love it when it's hot weather at 40 Celsius, but its not ok when the phone reaches the temperature.

Why would a company take a chipset which causes heating issues just because 40° is bearable by human. Stupidest logic I ever heard. Is it fine if someone keeps slapping you, just because you can bear it. The fine optimization by Qualcomm shows how well it controls the temperature for better performance.

                                      SD888 is not the new 810. Otherwise all devices would suffer the same issue.

                                      When you see mi11 way hotter than S21 ultra, it means this is all xiaomi fault, not chip's.
                                      Poor heat control.

                                      Some people here blaim Qualcomm because they do not want to admit Xiaomi could not deal properly with the situation.
