Even with Blackfriday deals I want the more specked version for future proofing. It sucks, but I'll have to wait for 1 year or 2 years so the stocks here gets sold then new ones arrive...

I heard next month Samsung will announce new big machine phone and tablet if I'm not mistaken is model tablet S8+ better with camera front back, better display, better ram, Rom better connectivity, better battery

There was always a 512gb variant listed, at least on US models.
One of the primary reasons I have not bought one is because the UK only listed the 128gb variant on the wifi model. I'm puzzled about the need a 4g or 5g tablet, I just tether to my phone.
A second sim is far more use in a different use case. I use one to provide my home with data when I'm out, and both simultaneously as a bonded stream when I'm home.

I use a sleeve in my bag but all cases without exception are ugly and I would not ever use one. Yes, that includes the one you are using.
I use a different method of protection for my devices: being careful.

Pointless move. It would have made more sense to have included an upgrade to the battery. I have no clue why the color even matters as no one logs a tablet about without a case.

So why is it Phantom Navy and not Mystic Navy like the other colors in the lineup? Just because it's 2021 now?
Samsung annoys me with their color options. Wanted a 256GB S21 Ultra but the black looks so boring and cheap. I was totally set on Phantom Black because Samsung pumped it so hard but when I saw it in the store I instantly knew I wanted Phantom Silver. Now I'm stuck with 128GB only. 😐

In 2019 you could get a cheap Tab S5e with AMOLED but in 2020 only their most expensive tablet has AMOLED. Just Samsung being Samsung.

Looks great. Surely they want to renew interest in the S7 before the next tablet wave is released later this year. I have the Tab S6 Lite and it's actually pretty cool.

We actually want an S7 lite .
We don't need extra storage with Cloud Storage and Expandable storage (which costs a LOT cheaper then buying a bigger storage option) .

Tried a Tab S7+ in store. Unfortunately the OLED panel is actually average. The maximum brightness is just 388 nits and additional 100 nits on booster mode. That’s not impressive at all assuming LCD panels already exceed 500 nits+.

Tab S7+ is lowkey the best tablet experience bar none.
Obviously it does not have some of the specific pro software that ipad does (media/video editing), but it has it's own Linix like environment (termux), or full on linux (andromix), both of which during the dex/laptop mode are ages ahead from ipad when it comes to productivity.
Ofc any Chrome OS devices have those at similar costs too (for relatively high end hardware), *but* with twice the weight and less battery at similar size, so less of a tablet experience more of a laptop one. Tab S+ series is more of a tablet (more comfortably held in just 1.2 pounds @ 12.5 inches) but with quite hefty productivity features (if like me are a linuxhead).
So yeah more productive than an ipad (in certain workloads), lighter , amoled vs LCD screen (*incredible* for media watching). Still quite expesnive though.
