I smell something fishy about what happening between Nokia and Microsoft. Elop is a former employee of Microsoft and Microsoft is planning to create their own Smartphone. Elop is killing Nokia Company for the reason that when the Nokia cant control anymore the Lost of profit in the market this will be the time that the Microsoft will buy the Nokia then all the patent license and technology owns by Nokia will be transferred to Microsoft for them to easily create a New Brand of phone

Stop complaining about 8mp camera. Nokia 808 was an experiment to show what can be done. 808 was a brick compared to this because of the camera. Obviously they cant make a phone this gorgeous with a huge sensor. Remember se satio? That had 12mp cam but I can guarantee it wont be as good as 8mp pureview. Cybershot 3.2mp camera on old k770i produces better pics than 8mp on w995 - you catch my drift? Anyway I hope nokia and microsoft do well and help reduce the number of i-diot phone popularity! Android rules but it needs good competition to help make it progress. Android is 10 out of 10, windows phone about 7 out of 10 but improving and iphone 5 out of 10 purely because I hate them!

Been waiting for this! Phone looks very good, love the Windows Phone UI. Nice to see they didn't try to up the MP count on the camera. It's reached the stage where they've found the optimum (8MP) and just focused on improving image quality rather than image size. Disappointed there's no official release date for these phones yet

AnonD-57663, 05 Sep 2012Samsung Ativ S looks much better to me with aluminium unibo... moreare you shure it is aluminium? Samsung makes all plastic bodies that look like metal from some time.
If it is, it will be the real WP8 flagsip if HTC doesn't come with something better :)

Well this is rather disappointing. I'm better off with my Lumia 800. It's got better design with any other phone.

What a joke. 820 has some sort of card slot, this, the flagship doesn't. The camera is some sort of pathetic Pureview implementation(it can make like what, 1MP photos in Pureview mode?) and it weights almost as two decent smartphones.
