This is some seriously messed up stuff.
My Ultra is on a 3 week backlog here in Ireland. Heard of plenty of Americans being on back orders too, and they sell them at a discount on Amazon? WTF, Samsung?

So new S21 and old FE are sold for the same price in US now :-)
And even then FE presents better value: with bigger battery, optical zoom, SD card and bigger screen (not always a pro though).

Not too bad for a new entry S model.

The pre-orderers are able to get the new phone with trade in for under 500 and even nearly 100 for the s21. Then there is also the fact that they received free items. I got the galaxy buds live and a wireless charging pad basically for free. XD

Samsung are affraid to lose market share to Apple, its simple and clean that is what in cause here.
Im not Apple or Sammy fan, but cleary a warzone for those two in US and A for long time.
And since Samsung isnt sell as good as they want, this is desperate move by them. Poor Sammy, One day this need to happen, Apple to follow next...when people realize they are overpaying for some "Dancy"

Not a positive thing to see Samsung is selling these at a 20 per cent discount only two weeks after release. Must be a lot of unsold stock lying in warehouses and stores.

Nah this has to be a joke :)), it was already cheap compared to Europe and they get discounts & snap. S21 in usa is almost half the price in my country 🥲

WTF Feeling bad for all the folks who pre-ordered these. Getting actual money discount is so much better than Samsung store credits. I never never buy Samsung products full price ever again.

Discount no discount.
Phone started with price same like the phone from last year but thats not the same price because in box is excluded ultra fast charger woth 50 bucks earplugs by samsung worth 200 bucks and a memory slot piece worth invaluable for certain people.
Now with 200 bucks so called discount is still more expensive than phones from last year by at least 50 bucks.
So saing they did a discount is a lie. They just adjusted their price in hope the phone will sell beter but thats a lie.
I dont know much customer who would like to buy a phone with a box and cable and nothing else because they still have to pay for charger and earplugs. Without them flagship is not flagship and phone it self is useless.

I was surprised they hadn't discounted the Z series already, because they're already priced at premium and the new ones are around the corner
But those are very appealing discounts on the Galaxy S series, especially the vanilla S21, I doubt you'll find a better phone for the money even when other SD888 devices have been released, you certainly won't now.

For God's sake, all the carriers here in the US are offering the S21 for free so long as you stick with them for 24 months...
