I've ran out of them in 2 years on all Android phones though and knowing you don't have latest OS anymore just sucks. Well, not anymore with iPhone and iOS...

What a loser!... moreEven thou I like Samsung and I think that is the only company making Android phones worth taking into consideration, they are sitting in first place mainly because of their cheap models, not for their premium models.
Their S, Note and Fold series are really nice, but they are expensive and the average people do not buy them. I mean not in large numbers and certainly not in emerging countries.

Apple would have known full-well what numbers to expect, but they did it anyway.

Also,apple has worst design in a phone,and they are so heavy! Xperia 1 III will be a beast,as Xperia 1 II is a little better than 12 pro max in camera

It's why hardly anyone ever stays with same brand unless they are its biggest fanboys. I mean, I literally never had 2 Android phones in a row from same vendor. Hell, I never had 2 from same brand. If I were a phone maker, I'd be pretty worried if your userbase has that little loyalty to the brand you have. Apple is the exact opposite of that. But not in a fanboy kind of way. I mean sure, there are too coz fanboys are everywhere, but at least Apple gives you the incentive to stick around. Having very long proper software support at least for me is like the biggest one. If I reliably and timely get updates for a long time, I have zero incentive to buy another phone. And when it'll be that old, because of the good experience, I'll most likely go with Apple again. Not because I'd be so inconvenienced to switch, I don't use any of their specific services so I can easily switch tomorrow if I want, it's just that I just don't want to. I just don't want to deal with crappy deferred Android updates, lack of long term updates and even Google itself and their idiocies. I'm excited every time I see a cool Android device, but then I realize it still has all the crap that made me dump Android and I just give up on that idea. If some vendor starts offering 5 full years of major version updates, I'd even reconsider having "relationship" with Google again. But since that just doesn't exist, I'm not even thinking about it. So, there's that.
