i don't know why huawei claims that phone as easy to repair...
looks like their marketing ppl forgot that removing and reinstalling the back cover is super difficult because it uses glue to attach to its main body which is sooo stupid to call it easy....and there is no guarantee that the attached back cover will not get removed by itself because the the glue can lose its grip over time lol

Your understanding of android must be somewhere between zero and null. The only thing android one will lack is the bloatware and ads. The rest is nothing but tweaking, something all android one users with a bit of knowlege can do. The difference will be: they will still have only what they want and need, and not what other want or need to spy on you. To fight against android one with such arguements is well.... as i have already said at the beginning

From 100% to 50%, battery life was fine.
But from 49%, it suddenly dropped to 3% and phone turned off.
I had to return the battery to the seller.

I ordered 3 batteries from Ali by recommendations from fan forums while I found at least one battery, that covers nearly 80% of original capacity.
Talking about displays - its full of pain story. AMOLEDs for flagships costs nearly ~200 USD at Ali. And there no chance, that ordered part will last for years.
So, the conclusion is: vendors practice unrepairable way just to regularly charge customers for a new phone. In old times of Nokia original battery costs near 10-30 USD at Nokia Service Centre. And You don`t need an service guy to change it. :)

Cost isn’t an issue but you may end up waiting for weeks just to be able to get a spareparr especially the display.
Unfortunately just like Samsung and Apple devices some people sell fake parts for Chinese brands especially display on the market. The older models (ex. Redmi Note 5) are extremely common.

I do agree that the way Xiaomi updates it is annoying. They advertise MIUI this and that version update and just silently ignore the fact they don't update Android underneath it. So most devices seemingly get latest updates while only getting MIUI updates and not Android updates. Which is annoying and I really hate it that Xiaomi does that.

The separate camera bezel is an odd choice, yes it allows them to use the same rest panel with several camera arrays, but it's definitely a huge water ingress point if it doesn't seal properly.

Even with 2 year old flagship in official service - you get high copy replacement battery. And this is not only about Xiaomi.
Its funny, but You can`t even buy original parts for Chinese phone on Chinese Ali market.))

Xiaomi is putting forward a valiant effort to get customers to it's higher end phones but they won't do it for long without capitalizing on profits.
