Anonymous, 12 Feb 2021Just stop!!! Apple maps is really bad. Everyone know this Dude, literally no one was even talking about Apple Maps. Insufferable rabid Apple hater. You just whine over Apple even when no one talks about it. The guy was talking about Google maps and I was talking about HERE WeGo. And you just have to plow in and start droning about Apple. sigh

As always, 'fresh' innovation by Apple :)

While I don't know if it stops music or not, I've been using it for navigation for years and it's amazing. Plus it's one of rare map apps that has 100% offline maps. You just tick the countries you need, it downloads them through your home WiFi and you can use it without any data connection, just GPS. And it's really a whole country, not that cached nonsense other map apps do where they just download the route you'll be doing and few kilometers surrounding that and you're stuck with that even if you go outside of that where it'll use data connection. It can also work fully online if you don't care about data usage.

uk7866, 11 Feb 2021Wave has this well since forever... I use Waze. It doesn't have this. U have to manually report it, not just say it and it's taking your eyes off the road.
Also waze while the best imo for navigating is a buggy mess, sometimes it doesn't talk to you. sometimes it does. sometimes it stops your music instead of lowering it to talk to you.
