Android-Authority, 18 Feb 2021Never used a Note, never used a stylus on 6-7 inch phone, Y... moreThat's how it is, man.
Have you ever used an Android TV, instead of a smartphone as a daily driver?
You don't have to use a "practically useless" feature to tell you that is is practically useless.
How can you even think of using an stylus on a freaking 6" device? And what amazing use will it have?

Me, an Android hater and an Apple fanboy? Lol. Even I didn't know that. I only used 6S Plus, that too, left me thinking about that money I WASTED on a phone.
I said, "IF I EVER spend that exorbitant price for such a USELESS, degrading asset, I'd prefer the one that at least comes with more support for future"
I am using 7 y/o OnePlus One as my daily driver, and as far as I remember, it is running on ANDROID 10, only.

But I do believe that Apple is anyday better than Android, "IF" someone is ready to burn a thousand dollars on a USELESS piece of sh!t. Because they don't sell "practically useless" features like CuRvEd display, StYlUs or uLtRa hIgH, triple digit refresh rates with negligible supported apps on their iPhones

The note series is legendary for its stylus. You just hate it as it isn't offered on iPhone but the stylus is offered on Apple tablet.

"If at all I'd pay that exorbitant price for such a degrading asset, that too, for merely 3 years, I'd rather go with iPhone. At least, that would have 5 years of lag-free life."

This line cements you as nothing but an Android hater and an Apple fanbuoy.

But I can say for sure that working with stylus on a 16" device will have much better experience than working on a similarly priced 6" sh!t.

then again, none of them have broken yet. (which is quite surprising knowing me like i do)

I will go right now and start making full use of my stylus (finger, in my case) on a 6" smartphone.

I am totally aware of these methods. I am using full-fledged, Google-less custom ROM on my phones and tabs.
But at the same time, you have to consider the majority of users, who don't have much technical knowledge and don't even have time to gain.
And yeah, if we take all these methods into consideration, then the term "bloatware" itself would be meaning-less.

Thanks. Your explanation might help some other frustrated user who is willing to invest his time.

ThunderCrackR, 16 Feb 2021Welcome back, Samsung Smart Rotation! Well, even if Google&... moreyes! i also miss that feature wherein the front camera checks if you still are looking at the screen so it doesn't turn it off after the specified time. alot of the samsung features on its android skin from way back touchwiz were ahead of its time- these include the hover preview for links and media, they were a few years ahead than any android oem with the split-screen view, the floating apps (which they admit to be a copy from a pioneering dev) that works with its own apps as well as several third-party apps, they were also the first to implement copying and dragging to paste texts and media between two open apps, they also implemented first the conversion of texts from pictures into actual texts that you can save to the clipboard, solving mathematical formulas from within s-note, smart detection of s-note entries for suggestion to saving as contact or looking it up on maps, and many more. yes, i agree it is bloat indeed, but those are for user convenience and frankly i have used many of those features alot when i was still loyal to samsung.

                      "Stock google android is ugly"

That's the point. It's just a basic OS with a simple interface.

SShreyas, 17 Feb 2021Anything that comes pre-installed IS a bloatware. Let'... moreClearly you've never used adb tools, which with the right command will allow you to disable/enable or even uninstall system apks for the current user without rooting the phone.
The apk will still be on the phone, just not for the current user (user 0). There's also a command to limit the number of users.
Also, try just disabling them first, as some of the apks are intertwined and uninstalling one of those could lead to bootloops or FC's to other apks.. If you uninstall a system app and want it back, the only solution is to hard reset the phone. Disabling the apks is the best way, as you can always enable it back.

The adb command to disable a system apk:

                        pm disable-user --user 0 com.package.example

The adb command to enable it back:

                        pm enable --user 0 com.package.example

Tested and tried it on my non-rooted phone. Works like a charm. So far I have 226 system apks disabled on my Samsung phone.
There's always a solution. You just have to Google it if you cand figure it out by yourself.

                        Hope my comment helped you!

Let's say, I haven't even used Microsoft products. So, they ARE a bloatware and One UI has almost every app from Microsoft, pre-installed.

Yeah, but in MIUI have gaming mode in my Redmi Note 8 (at least very late for the Android itself)

Currently in Android 11. Looking for some virtual machine with root access embedded (my phone is not rooted). If anyone can suggest me that's great. Tried VMOS Pro but the root access is paid unfortunately.

I used to be able to use regular VMOS back in Android 10 but now I couldn't.
