Samsung laptops are good in practical
They have to go with good GPUs and good refreshments.
Screen is ok.... Better graphics, refresh rate like phones that makes laptops lot swifter feel..not feel of slowdown windows..
AMOLED is so good..and Samsung software is just a smart touch.

Here we go again. Another manufacturer uses the word "pro" to warrant overpricing their dated products. Really Samsung? Intel chips? 16:9 aspect ratio? No dedicated graphics? And I hope that 1700USD price is a joke - OLED 90Hz is cute and all, but without the power to warrant that I could care less. And this isn't a hot take. There will be people asking about the battery life - cause right now it's looking like a guzzler.
I heard someone ask for matte screens. Maybe they should look into non-OLED alternatives for this model, but i doubt they will. Samsung is as stuck-up as they come with suggestions

This is all nice news but any update on the release in US?
I been waiting on Intel 11th Gen for some time now, Samsung is spinning news here and there about Book Flex 2 for months now and it just recently came out in South Korea, UK and some other markets..
Anybody have any time frame prediction..

Wow - intel CPU and another 13.3 inch 16:9 aspect ratio display. When will they learn?? Another "Pro" series not actually aimed at professionals. There may as well not even be a 13 inch version.
The worst part is it does this wrong, and it will STILL be over $1500

Why do all good designs only come with intel inside even when it's clearly the inferior product for now?

Alderlake is supposed to be good. But can't they provide ryzen versions at least till intel isn't shit anymore?

Anonymous, 16 Feb 2021MS windows is a opeice of software from at least 10-20 year... moreOh please, don't bring your "Linux is better" mentality here. If anything, I see a lot of Linux users now switching to Windows. I myself did the same and definitely not regretting that decision at all. No matter how many Android apps out there, they still have a long way to become a complete replacement to Windows x86 and x64 software.

Would love to see this in a tablet form like the Surface Pro, that would be a winner. But if there's one thing I have in mind, I wonder if OLED screen for laptops can survive burn-in issue. I see a lot of phones with OLED screen suffering from burn-in.

It's amazing that Samsung has been using wacom EMR stylus technology on its laptops and has the best writing and painting experience on mobile devices! Other third-party OEM manufacturers are using the toy like wacom AES / surface MPP solution.

Samsung's laptop with pen function is equivalent to the third-party wacom mobile studio pro, and its price, appearance, screen hardware, quality and after-sales service are absolutely better than wacom's own brand products!

I am really happy that laptops now have OLED display. A couple of suggestion can we have a laptop with an AMD Processor. Also please keep an option of not loading any OS on the laptops. Let the customer put the OS he/she likes. I have also made the same comment regarding OS for mobile phones.

P C M, 16 Feb 2021same here.MS windows is a opeice of software from at least 10-20 years ago. Nobody should take laptops seriously. They are only relevant because of MS's (near) exclusivities with legacy software makers, literally only due to that.

Anything Windows can do, Android's Linux core can do better, in fact they have a laptop mode for almost a decade now, they marely lack the software selection which is nothing more other than Microsoft playing bully ball.

If Anything laptops are a bit too overrated given what you get. For a pice of the "exclusivities' pie" you get half the battery life for the size, twice the weight, half the power per gram. They.are.really.bad.products that happen to run a compatible OS.
