SEUL8TR, 21 Feb 2021If Exynos used custom cores moongose, vit would be on par. No it won't Mongoose was shit down because it failed to impress agaisnt SD, and good they shut it down

I watch TechUtopia but he seeems to be doing mostly SD processors.
As far as Emulators go, I am waiting for Skyline Switch Emulator,it's interesting because it intention is to not emulate but to translate code since switch is also ARM But has a long looong way to go,but they are gettting support from Homebrew and Yuzu.

I just want to get a proper pixel flagship with Snapdragon processor, problem is Pixel may move to custom Samsung made “whitechapel” chip that it may never play emulators the way Snapdragon does.

From this year we may see AMD ... moreIts not about being closed source. Mali lacked some features in the gpu driver, while adreno didnt. So devs have to make hacks to workaround that.
Adreno drivers are closed source, while i see some old mali drivers source are on the arm site now.

Overall Snapdragon 888 is better than Exynos 2100 from every aspect. That's it.
"Exynos is back" was a lie. "Exynos is on the right path" should have been the correct slogan.

Great article, thanks!
In the future, the Gfxbench battery stress test (manhattan) could be added too.

Exciting times Ahead:
From this year we may see AMD Graphics in Exynos
With the next two years we may see
Hi Performance Nuvia Custom Chip in Snapdragon
ARM 64bit only Makalu in 2023.
Only problem for Exynos and Mediatek is Very Very difficult to play Emulators due to closed sourced nature, Dev's aren't porting and working on Emulators for those chips

Love to add temperature when testing.
So the tech chap's 2100 is a rare version. All the 888 s21ultra tests have same results.
For my daily use, I can see 888 can last longer 2100 for 1h max.

Snappy 888 is the winner and not by that small of a margin....
Exynos improved but it's still not up to par with Snappys

ThunderCrackR, 21 Feb 2021Sincerely, I am starting to think that tech sites really do... more...and each time they say both chipsets are not so different performance-wise even though the numbers clearly shows that the SD one wins big time.
I have similar thoughts about these 'news', but in a sense that they released news about the individual new features in S21, almost like promotional release. It's fine with me, but they should clarify if it is indeed sponsored.
