Stadia leadership reportedly praised Studio employees before closing down studios

Just before closing shop, an internal email the previous week painted a different picture.

      So I guess the next time we'll hear about how Stadia is doing well, should we expect news about the service being discontinued as well?

          They did the same to my old firm (oil and gas industry), couple of years ago. They praised us for our incredible work, make some team buildings and then after 6 months they closed the office. 250 people out of the job, like that. No compensation, no moving to other offices, everybody home.
          But, then again I lived in a sh*thole country from Eastern Europe.
          I learned something valuable that day. Never trust an employer, no matter how much bullsh*t and praises says to you. Unless those praises can be seen in my salary (meaning increasing it).

            thats the hypocrisy of "the leadership'' for you, never trust them when they praise you.
