Microsoft finally makes its Office app iPadOS optimized

Although the standalone Word, Excel and PowerPoint apps are still in the App Store.

Well, Samsung and Microsoft do have a partnership - so no wonder it was delayed for Apple devices.

    GSMArena, why did you stop reviewing tablets? It'd be fantastic if you'd resume it. There are plenty of market for students needing a tablet; of which a review would be really helpful.

      [deleted post]If some Android app isn't optimized, yousguys are quick to blame the fault on the operating system, but if an iOS/iPad OS app isn't optimized, it is the fault of developer, not the OS... Nice double standards.

                    why people trash Microsoft because they didnt bring this until now on ipad WHEN they already made the stand alone apps optimised for the ipadOS for 3-4 years now...

If I am doing anything important, I will not rely iOS. Also there is lack of local apps in iOS store. Most apps used for education in India are completely missing from their eco system

                        All the Optimization PR campaign from Apple has been badly exposed in the real world.

                            So when a particular app isn't optimized or doesn't produce the desired optimized result, you are blaming individual app developers for lack of optimizations?
                            The fact is that this app was already optimized for Android, it wasn't optimized for iPadOS thereby debunking this theory about apps being better optimized for iOS/iPad OS.

Just replaced HDD once and upgraded ram. I suggest you to do format and clean install latest version of Windows 10. Install all updates and store updates too. After that install everything you need. Tweak settings and control panel as you like and disable as many things as you can. Also install an ad blocker too. Configure every software or application you use. When you think everything is great just run disk cleanup and clear temporary files. Do disk defragment and enjoy.

My 6 year old Dell with 4th gen i5 with 4GB RAM still works like a charm, even with 20H2. (I upgraded from HDD to SSD). It restarts in 35 sec. From the poin of clicking restart to the first refresh and start menu loading.
                                    My Android phone from 2020 boots slower than that. (I calculated, with the help of a stopwatch).
                                    So I can never understand why some Windows user whine about Wkndows being slow.
                                    P.s. I never faced any virus problem even though I exclusively use Microsoft Defender/Security and willingly dabble with some unsafe websites, every now & then.

                                        btw each time my Asus laptop running a scheduled windows update, my laptop become slower and broken.
                                        Even i cant use Picture viewer from windows anymore, it always error in start. After many updates, Realtek always pop up triggered by unknown cause.
                                        Launching microsoft edge and chrome become longer and longer.
                                        And it is all not because Full internal space, or virus, drop from high, or something.... But windows update.
