You guys dosent undertand, Xiaomi is a serious company, it does have the best android software suport, with updates every 20 days, not even apple updates iOS this much, it has only 2 years old, and already rule the chine mobile market, and it is today bigger than Blackberry, we are not talking about a disposable xingling device here, we are talking about the best hardware that a android phone can offer, far better than optimus G, and with an open source android, based on stable cyanogenMOD roms, but completely customizable, and it does give you a 1 year warranty.
The only thing that Optimus G have better is the back camera resolution, but it does not have a better lens and glass filters set than MI-2, so you will take pictures with more size and less quality than MI-2

And the phone cant be ugly, since you can buy a custom back cover with any photo or color you like, and the front part of the MI-2 is completely black, you cant even see the screen until is turned on, it has the most thin side borders with the last sensor-on-lens tecnology that you find Xperia V.
