Not everybody buys flagships and not in every country it's easy to import phones from China and then service them if something breaks. Check the latest Louis Rossman video about his Moto G and you'll see that from an average user point of view, the Motos just work and can work even better than phones 3-4 times the price :)

If you are considering the moto g power 2021 from google fi DO NOT buy the moto g power 2021 and get the g power 2020 instead. The 2020 version has a 1080p screen, snapdragon 665, ultrawide camera, aluminum frame, 16mp selfie camera, stereo speakers while the 2021 version has a 720p screen, snapdragon 662, no ultrawide camera, plastic frame, 8mp selfie camera, and one speaker all according to gsmarena.
