Infolds are pointless.they make the phone extra thick.

Outfolds are the only possible future as long as we find (of) a way to protect those outwards looking folds.

It is already given that LG's OLED panels are native 10-bit. Their flagship OLED TVs are natively 10-bit, and it's the same exact technology that they're using on their smartphones.

No, price point is not a problem at all. Smartphones with HDR IPS LCD panels are true 10-bit already. https://amp.reddit.com/r/lgg7/comments/9aoo0n/wow_the_lg_g7_display_seems_to_have_an_actual/

It's not a question of whether it is possible at common smartphones' price range or not, but rather if there's anybody who can actually manufacture such panel for smartphones. In this case, LG can do it.

Perhaps the better way is, can you instead provide me some information to confirm that Samsung's Super AMOLED panels are true 10-bit panels? If you can, then my argument is negated.

Ha! They don't even test more than 10% of smartphone screens throughout the world to make such conclusive statements either.
The only advantage that Samsung has is in terms of experience, where they have been working with this technology (in smartphones) for longer time than LG, but once LG gets the quality control right with their panels, they'd be doing much better than Samsung already.
                              I don't know where'd you get that 24-bit, but 10-bit to 10-bit, LG's P-OLEDs are definitely better because again, Samsung's 10-bit is just 8-bit + 2-bit software smoothing.

Foldable phones will only be viable when the following is achieved:
No ports. No physical sim. FaceID very small melted into the bezel like iPad pro. No buttons. No speaker holes. The bezels will be raised ever slightly to protect the inner display, like that of a laptop clamshell.

So when you fold its thin.. very thin. The gap of the fold will be hidden under the raised bezels.. making it look flat. Microsoft Duo is a good visualisation.

These romours usually pop up to clickbait Apple haters ( strange isn't it?). Anyone who knows apple know apple will only come up with foldable only when they are already a staple in android or the foldables are reliable and better than those of the competition. There is no advantage of LG foldables over those already in the market.
