That might be a 270° fold , not just a simple inward fold , mate x design shows the thick side is made to make the phone a. Regular cuboid when it is folded with screen outward.

They won't be able to even make phones anymore if they don't get an agreement in terms of being able to buy components with American technology. They probably would have negligible market share in most overseas markets without Google services but the Chinese market is large enough for them to survive without GMS. However, they have insufficient stock of all their phones at present in China and will have no mid to high end phones if they can't access chips fairly soon which is even a bigger problem for them

MadMel, 18 Feb 2021he spoke the truth, it really is.Lol.🥴 Most are already protecting our Front Glass Screen using screen protector. Why is it better to use outward folding when the screen is much more fragile compared to our regular slab phone. Samsung approach is better. Of course Ren Zhengfei will say their product is better.

Outward folding screens are dumb, if u drop it, u could end up shattering the entire screen
