ECG and blood pressure monitoring finally live for Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch3

ECG+BP = SCAM! Only works through an extra application on the Galaxy Store. Doesn't even work from the watch itself in standalone. Means if you don't have an extra Samsung-only phone in addition to the watch you won't have those features. SAMSUNG = CROOKS!

Fit bit sense have been doing ECG since it's roll out last year in October In many countries
Except in Australia was told November 20 none yet
.NO SPORTS OR HEALTH WATCHES HAVE THE THERAPEUTIC GOODS ADMINISTRATION AUTHORISATION TO BE USED IN AUSTRALIA.
spent the $500 in good faith on a good brand with proven reliability ecg main reason I bought it as I have heart problem that needs monitoring.
FINDING NO ECG AUTHORISATION AUS and is not rolling out any time soon

You won't be able to access/download the app unless you have samsung galaxy phone...

Yes you can install the BP and ECG app on ANY Android phone, although it looks a bit daunting, if you follow the guide exactly I can confirm it works well after I installed it both a Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra and a Huawei Mate 40 Pro +.

Yes you can install the BP and ECG app on ANY Android phone, although it looks a bit daunting, if you follow the guide exactly I can confirm it works well after I installed it both a Xiaomi MI 10 Ultra and a Huawei Mate 40 Pro +.

It doesn't work in the US yet.

While you can hit Record and get s reading on both functions the result is always the same: 100 for sugar and 120/80 for pressure.

It's been available in the US for quite sometime now. I've had it working on my Galaxy Active Watch 2 for a couple months at least

The blood pressure monitor needs to be calibrated every month. It warns us and then stops working after that until we recalibrate.
