    I think they're denying everything to keep their shareholders happy and avoid the mobile division dropping its value before it is sold.

                  LG cant exit the smartphone market. They are needed for different reasons, aside from having more competition

                    Maybe LG can do what HMD Nokia did with the 9 PureView by selling it in limited numbers to see whether the market can accept it.

                                    Wish best luck to LG. Hope they will be profitable as soon as they will return to no cutout screens and simple feature rich phones.

                                      I hope LG will release the phone, and price it in a wise way(to be cheaper than the Oppo rollable), so they could have a hit this way! I mean come on, even Samsung is working on such a project, and others too, so this might be the future!
                                      Of course the first generation might not be that great, but still it is easier to make a rollable phone than a foldable one.
