my xperia S has all this specs and run at higher 1.83GHz compared to the SL 1.7GHz. They just overclocked the chip. I did it myself without spending for a new one. Nice strat sony, crank up the speed and charge for a hell lot more. It's like paying for the service that you can do yourself.

599 euros is 774 dollars. compared to the 499/523 dollars in the us, why is it so expensive in Europe ?

Whilst there is no denying the quality of this device, it faces its own range on the market. The Xperia T is such an appealing and well featured device that many will opt for that one instead unless the SL drops in price considerably. And of course the Xperia S and P will continue to fall in price. Excellent all rounder though.there is no doubt.

If Sony is so keen not to interfere w/ Sony Xperia T, V, and J sales, they shouldn't have released the SL. The Sony Xperia T is everything the Sony Xperia S is and more.

I can swallow ripping of european customers when the US/EU price is 600$/600€ but when the ratio is 500$ vs 600€(or 768$) that's just insane...they are stealing from EU customers so they can offer it cheaper in the US ... I'LL NEVER BUY THAT KIND OF FRAUD!

aaheey, 12 Sep 2012greatful!I don't understand the part about Sony not wanting to interfere with the T, V and J sales... I mean why do they care if SL would be sold instead of lets say T? Don't they get money from both? And the specs of SL are so good it could be their flagship. They should be proud of it. What am i missing really?
