The locked-screen Assistant feature seems great. After all, you want to be able to use voice commands when you are not actually able to use the screen.

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2021I'm almost done with the degoogling process. It's... moreI've tried it and was such pain in the butt to work and live with, I ditched the idea and bought iPhone. Mostly because of banking which requires their app for 2FA and doens't work if phone is just unlocked and not even rooted. And I wasn't in a mood to constantly fiddle with Magisk to hide that fact. It may not be perfect, but at least it's not Google. Before this move I've ditched all other Google services anyway and replaced them with alternatives like DuckDuckGo and ProtonMail to a point I'm entirely independent now. I can go back to Android tomorrow and not really be inconvenienced by the transition for as long as all these services provide apps for it on both Android and iOS. And they do.

I'm almost done with the degoogling process. It's so much better to be distributed, makes you more independent and less dependent on one company. People should ditch corrupt monopolies.

Does Messages have a send undo or send delay feature like gmail? That's the only other big feature that I'd want to allow me to switch from Textra.
