Rahul, 15 Sep 2012somebody plz help me out... If i import iphone 5 in india... moreYes You can, Given the condition , you buy a factory unlocked model. Though your phone would have LTE modem, the 3G/2G modem will come to use in India. There is another problem also. iPhone 5 uses a nano SIM , which is smaller than micro sim (which is still scarce in India). But some sim cards can be cut down to a Micro sim , so please make sure , u have a nano sim or else the phone would not be activated.

This Ultrafast LTE is probably the same Cat 3 LTE found inside the Lumia 920. It has 100 Mbit/s download and 50 Mbit/s upload. The Lumia 900 has a 50 Mbit/s download speed. The real speed on my Lumia 900 is 20 Mbit/sec which is still 2 times faster than my home broadband.

sam, 13 Sep 2012This is Apple's iLTE which is better than conventional LTE ... morebut LTE is literally belongs to sammy, so lets wait a lil bit until the jury will hit the bell, apple infringe the sammy's LTE. hahaha come on sammy hurry up, sue apple or otherwise you can never get back your 1.4+++ billion of dollars revenue, or make a little side trip to apple's business, lets not ban them, we well help them sell their bugs, but will pay you with 10% of their total sales, how about that? i hate apple, they inject what they want. they dont give what consumers needs

You really should read up on LTE before writing about it. The biggest problem with the limited LTE-capability ind the iPhone5 is the band it runs on. 2,6 GHz is the primary band used by european SP's. And the iPhone doesnt support that - in my humble oppinion a complete failure by Apple. But hey, fanboys dont mind, they just change their carrier to a more expensive on to get LTE on their precious iPhone. Apple can do pretty much what they want nowadays.

                            Please add Omnitel - Lithuania.

It provides LTE for more than a year as of March 2011.

asneira, 13 Sep 2012there's LTE in portugal, also. Yes there is BUT iPhone 5 is NOT compatible with the LTE networks in Portugal. It uses other frequencies... Same applies to many european countries, so you'll have to use it in 3G mode which is kind of a stupid IMHO...

BTW, this article forgets to mention that in Slovenia (EU) Simobil has also LTE in some parts. And Simobil is the only carrier that sells iPhones.

Hi what about countries where it is TDD-LTE like India, iPhone5 would be useless here and people will still have to pay for the non-fuctional LTE part inside the phone? Is there any iPhone5 coming without LTE for countries like these?

LTE is not available in every part of the country wheer 4G is available. So LTE is not of much use in present day. But new technology is good.
