Interesting the comments... Most of the people that write here believe that the technical specifications of Iphone5 are old? Ok, there is a lot of non-engineer here, but please compare the technologies and the chip specification first.
Other thing, I ‘m an Iphone4 user and what I was expecting in Iphone5, first: better battery life, second: lower weight, third: thinner size, Forth: Quicker phone and Fifth: bigger screen, but not too big.
Conclusion: All items is what I expect and what I want.
Design: really nice apple Design. When you buy a BMW you know how a BMW looks… and you like that.
Software: The iOS is really great, perfect to use and stable and now is better. Of Couse, don't have kid effects in the main screen, but I really don't appreciate this non-useful effects.

More of the same, Apple just tried to match the competition with the iPhone, but this phone really does not do the competition and better (galaxy s3/note 2 and lumia 920)? Facetime without wi-fi? (competition with other applications makes it long ago) Panoramic camera (for years there are hundreds who do, the Galaxy S2 which was released in February 2011 does), 4 "screen after so praised was his old 3.5" because it was "perfect"? (only lengthened to go from being in a television format of the old with 3:2 to 16:9 aspect ratio which is used in all screens for almost a decade and in all competition for smartphones years), has integration with facebook? (competition integration with any application, not just facebook, makes me cringe that improves mention in his presentation as revolutionary), changed the charging port? (only becomes obsolete ALL devices you have with the old port or use the adapter will cost 29 euros ...) Processor updated (it fair to try to adapt to 2012 and still remains in last place against competition) what else has? any other developments to compare with the competition? NO .. NOTHING, even has the same battery, with a larger screen is used up more quickly than does the 4s ... And pity that the great innovations that have made smart competition have not deigned nor some even match or take a self ... Open your eyes people

Waooo after all rumors and secracy.,...REALLY APPLE thats your new Iphone. .5 inch bigger and a new pin conector so that you spend $30 in the adapter. Really? What a piece of crep is the same iphone 4s nothing change....Peop-le are so BLIND falling for it.
OPTIMUS G BABY THE MOST POWERFULL PHONE IN THE WORLD will eat this iphone for fun.

I Love Apple. I know the features of Android are far better than iOS and Apple can't implement most of them in the Apple's life time.
But as a hardcore fan I will always choose iPhone even they are most costlier than others.
All other phones either they are made of Sony, Samsung, or Nokia they are all trash.
People, please go and buy iPhone 5 and increase the revenue of Apple.
Apple will rule the world!!!!!

Lol "unique" as someone stated ....250 million will probably be sold and it looks allmost like those 200 million 4's sold...everybody will have it , what is unique about that ? Every iPhone looks and feels exactly the same , the only thing different is some flashy case ppl buy for them .Besides why is it still stubbornly called a SMARTphone. Compared to android iOS is idiotproof , there is nothing SMART about it.

Sigh (disbelief)..
so expensive yet the iphone5 overall operating standby time not more or less than 225hrs..this mean we still need a constant recharging!!!
C'mon..they can do more than that!! Apple is worth 500 billion USD company in the world but too little to offer to their loyal customers?? Thinkk again...
Now I wonder why too many Toyotas driven nowadays on our roads....

a nokia 920 better then a iphone 5???? and a gs3???? i think not there is nothing good about nokia handsets they lost there drive in the market when the 3310 was no longer cool!!! You my friend is off your head!!

What bothers me the most is the fact that the Iphone 5 wont work in Portugal 4G network. We have a vast of bands using 4G in Portugal. How come it won't work on the portuguese 4G networks?!?!

Its rubbish. There is no much difference from iPhone 4S. The cost is high and its not what was expected.
