Bandwidth is something i include in gpu power, and you are wrong, phones have really low bandwidth. And even when running 720p they struggle with genshin at max. Thermal throttling, battery usage, weak gpu, is the reason for low gfx and resolution on phones, not ram amount. Why do you think theres not even a 1080p or 1440p option in genshin, if all the 12gb phone owners can make use of it? And it runs on 1920 x 1440 on ipad pro 12.9 with a12z. How much ram do you think it has?

They dont, genshin uses 3gb at max. Check on your own device. So pretty much everything you said is wrong other than eggns ram usage.

It would be somehwere between 2 and 3gb at max settings. Whatever techutopia showed, its not the ram usage of genshin alone.

Mediatek sux, 03 Mar 2021There isnt anything that uses that much ram for now, apart ... moreWrong, first emulators don't need "hd texture packs" or options to reach 8gb of memory usage, eggns switch emulator does reach that easily with simple titles like crash, that and graphics need both physical memory with good bandwith, not just processing power. this is also the reason why almost all android games run at lower res as you mentioned, higher res textures consume more memory, and that would murder memory usage on a smartphone because smartphones have shared memory space. and nowadays native games like genshin can reach 6gb of usage, so pretty much everything you said is wrong.

18gb of ram and a high performance "Gaming" phone to play what? Every mobile game is literally just a money grab ad farm. There's only a handful of decent games like Minecraft Fortnite and a some paid games but everything else is trash and nothing is so demanding as to need 18gb of ram.

That doesnt matter for now, most high end games run at 720p on android, including genshin. Thats at the highest resolution.
Yes, in the future it would definitely matter, but still gpu performance needs more priority than ram amount. Throwing lots of ram doesnt mean you can get 1440p and 4k when the gpu is too weak.
