There's no way a minor updated iphone would sale like that, that's just not gonna happen. But then again, if it does happen, I won't be too surprised after seeing the apple fans reaction to the "new iphone 5" on the Jimmy Kimmel experiment video I just found on the GSMA blog. When it happens, it'll be just as hillarious as the video suggest. Apple hv just entered the 4" screen universe, while Samsung hv arrived in the 5.55" screen galaxy with the stylus revolution (now that's true innovation right there, and what I would call a real upgrade). Now that's how far the two company hv set apart.

I am greatly disappointed with iphone 5, no innovation at all ... still the same like iphone 4,4s... if still keep the same design why not bigger screen, 12MP camera, dual led flash light, home button is touch but not press.

I don't quite get what people are expecting of the iPhone 5 that they are very disappointed, and they don't even have a wishlist (cough GSMarena editorial, cough). They have increased the display real estate, improve camera quality by a tiny little bit, slightly better battery life, better display quality, and LTE.
To date, the design which started with iphone 4 is one of the best looking.
Here's my wish list on the iPhone 5
+ 4" display. I've a 4.3" atrix2 and find it too big
+ Further improvement on the optics
+ Make it a bit lighter and thinner
- better battery life (I was looking to a 40% improvement, so Apple did not meet this one)
- UI improvement. UI is just outdated. More a complaint against IOS6 than the phone

Variety is the spice of life which is something apple has not provided with the iphone, every other brand has done so giving the mobile buying market countless options... why force people to live 1 way? Not very wise.

It may sell.. But i don't think it will sell that much in 9 days . The reason because this time there is no such innovations made that even the iphone lovers would want to get it.. And overall wat i think the sale of the iP 5 would be is less than 15million by the end of the year... Reason that most of the people would want to try the new Nokia Lumia 920 cos of the groundbreaking innovations made by them.. So i'm not sure the ip 5 would be that successful this time as expected by the so called Anal - ysts..

Anonymous, 14 Sep 2012Windows Phone beat all these in elegant and integrations.Windows this, Windows phone that...... All I have heard from Windows phone fans is......."Just wait" lol.X)
Just wait till Apollo, just wait till the lumia 900, just wait till mango, just wait till windows 8, just wait till Lumia 920. Windows phone users must be the most patient users in the mobile market. I hope Windows 8 fails, why because the Windows 8 mobile has gimped Windows 8 desktop or home with its stupid formerly known metro UI. I would rather get a iphone over a tile interface anyday.

I remembered when SIII was first unveiled, everyone is commenting how bad it looks and now every one compare the SIII with the iPhone.. Before all commenting on how it looks and how much upgrade apple has done to this piece of technology... Can we all just look at the device first and then decide weather it's all worth it or not.. In the end user are the ones that will be using it everyday, day in and day out..

Why bother with this one when Apple gonna stuff us up again by releasing the next upgrade model could be 5s or 5i etc right after we bought the 5!

In the interests of the customer, Apple is simply not providing enough bang for the money they are going to be charging their customers. Very little has changed since the last iPhone iteration, in terms of hardware and software. If Samsung did this, they would have rabid fans breathing down their throats.
In consideration of the specs, if anyone owns a iPhone 4 and 4S, and buys this phone, they are wasting their money. Keep in mind, it is an objective opinion, I don't hate any of the softwares (I just prefer the layout of android).

OO, 13 Sep 2012Good luck to them but I doubt it will be 10 million sales, ... moreI think it will break 10M easily, iP4S was really not an upgrade from iP4 and look at how many got sold
Compare to 4 to 4S, iPhone5 is a total game changer

AnonD-70209, 13 Sep 2012I disagree with you entirely!
Android phones beat iOS phon... moreAs No Way put it exactly right, I agree Android has more power of customisation. But is there any point, I mean having tweaks here and personalisation there means very little when the overall performance is less satisfying than an iPhone. iPhone users know where they stand - a simplified OS that provides solid, incredible performance with no glitches (ok the 3GS will be slower with the more latter iOS but it still satisfies the user). The whole idea of Android phones and iPhones is apps, where the optimisation and app quality is better in many of the apps found on iPhones in comparison to Android phones. Don't get me wrong, I think Android Phones are absolutely ideal if customisation is the far important issue. For me the simplified high performance of the iPhone is perfect. Simple things like email have struggled with in built clients on my Android experience, whereupon they have been solid and flawless on my iPhones. The quality and performance of apps impress me far more on my iPhone. Android phones also suffer from security flaws and instabilities due it being an open source.
Again I prefer the much more stable ios than Android. If at the end of the day Android is your preferred choice then fair play, it's all about personal choice at the end of the day.
