a slightly thicker device won't hurt
if the rumors are correct need 5000mah minimum to last long with the power draw

Samsung, hire Andrei from Anandtech, as an independent consultant. Also, clock your X1 at over 3GHz if it's in a laptop/chromebooks, and under 2.8Ghz, if it's in a smartphone SoC. Also, the instruction set needs to be shorter. Exynos is definitely improving.

It's highly unlikely that the third one(midrange) SoC is a successor to Exynos 850. Because 850 has latest A55 core with 8nm process.
It's probably a successor to Exynos 9611.

Nah they can't cannibalize on their recently released Exynos 1080 & 2100 . These alleged AMD-integrated SOCs will definitely come next year.

Not really excited for Samsung chips.
Exynos has been a disaster for 2 years in a row.
Even if the AMD gpu turns out to be great, Samsung will f*ck it up by not putting any dedicated cooling inside.

We can expect an ARM GeForce equivalent over time to supplement or even replace GPU design offered by ARM, but the rest won’t change much.
