Samsung's 110" and 99" micro-LED TVs will be available later this month, more models unveiled

The company unveiled its micro-LED and Neo QLED line-up for 2021 at CES in January, today's event brought various new models.

          k5 or 9k just for TV is insane.
          I wonder where in my flat i would put a 150 inch TV because my largest room is 6x4 metres and even if i manage to put TV of this size into that room i will be very soon blind by watching such a large TV from such a close range.

They use hundreds, if not, thousands of LEDs grouped into regions at the back of the LCD panels which can be lit individually or in groups. That helps to boost the contrast almost equal to how OLED panels perform. So yes. It has potential to be almost as good as OLED panels. Also that helps to reduce the cost of TVs significantly compared to OLED panels.

                            Hopefully, 8K TV platform would get a nice push, from TV makers as well as broadcasters around the world. Let us bypass the 4K TV broadcast, go straight to 8K TV broadcast. We just need a lead from a significant TV market.

                                    I can see that some are still confused over Micro-LED and Mini LED Displays. Both very different things. Micro-LED is similar to OLED Panels except in this case the LEDS are made up on non organic Materials.
                                    Mini LED is just a LCD Display with thousands of Mini LEDs used as a back Light.
