This phone I understand, despite the naming. But the GSM version, IMO dilutes the brand. RAZR should be their flagship.
Why not simply stick with the Atrix series and release an international (and hopefully a MAXX version) as their medium weight champion?

It's $79.99 from Amazon, which is $20 cheaper than Verizon store.

Mobilemaster, 14 Sep 2012The Droid versions are available only at Verizon Wireless i... moreYou can be a real Motorola fan if you can say the truth. The Razr M as a mid range phone beat some high end phones on some options and performance.

You know that I did post information about the Razr M beating the GS3 and even the iPhone 5. Although the RAZR M still a mid range phone meaning on overall the GS3 or the iPhone 5 are better.

But at the $50 or $90 priced for the Razr M, it's the best deal for people.

But I is clear that you don't want to comment in this way because of Samsung.

On the 18 September the Intel Razr M will be released.

Quickeyez, 14 Sep 2012you are absolutely right about that. People are shying away... moreAll androids have that reputation. ANd it's also a bit bullshit. Yes, everyone delayed the 4.0 update, because 4.0 is buggy as can be. Look at the Milestone, on 2.0 - as first phone, got 2.1 shortly after and then 2.2 very quickly after it was out. Did not get 2.3 'cause 2.2 already sucked the most out of it's short RAM supply.

Moto has now officially been taken over by google, and people are getting a $100 trade in for 2011 Moto phones which is not getting ICS/JB, but the RAZRs will get it. And the new models is to get JB by christmas.

I'm certain the software part will be much better now, with it's new connection to google. Focus on fewer models also means easier to support them. About time :)

All they need now to succeed is to be as equal as possible in all countries they sell in. Get the phones out to everyone asap, get the firmware updates out asap. And obviously all non-carrier branded phones should have open bootloader (or at least be unlockable).

Variance, 14 Sep 2012Motorola had gained a reputation of not keeping update promises.you are absolutely right about that. People are shying away from their phones- not because they have bad hardware, but Moto's gained the reputation of failed promises to update their software.
