So, it will be a budget phone, not mid-range or flagship. Maybe they will do some Xperia 10 iii, but I don't think it will be less than 6.2" (plus taking into consideration the aspect ratio of Sony phones, it will be a tall phone). And their flagship phones are very expensive, at least in Europe (1000-1200eur for an Xperia 1 ii).
S10e cost 400eur in my country, lol. For a 2 year Samsung phone, is not worth it.
The only reasonable compact phone right now (on Android side) is the Pixel 4a. It has one of the best cameras, fairly decent battery life (6h of screen on time), very nice oled display (even though only 60Hz). Even the minuses considered by some people (like classic fingerprint reader or plastic back), I consider pluses.

Apple and Google phones doesn't have bloatware, lol. I mean, you can't consider gmail, google photos or youtube bloatware. Or mail, photos, safari.
But in a way that is normal, companies like Samsung and Xiaomi invest a lot of money in their skins and own applications, so they want those also in their phones.
You can try One Plus or Realme phones, they have less bloatware. The best phones, if you don't like bloatware, are iphones and Pixel phones. Period.

Only Google makes compact phones (don't rush out to buy 4a; 5a is right around the corner) and Sony is reportedly making one at around $400 (rumored).
The only compact Samsung phone which you can get now at a reasonable price is S10e, though it is 2 years older.

For a guy who had the A20e, A41 and tried the A71 for short time, I must say that there are better alternative phones to the A series from Samsung (price and performance).
Until recently, the big selling point of Samsung A series phones (majority of them) was the Oled displays. But nowadays, with many other companies offering the same Oled displays at better prices, even this is not a big plus anymore. The bloatware is still there and the lag in day to day usage is present too (not very big, but it's noticeable). Especially if you had flagship phones in the past.

Samsung pass is a useful password manager.
Samsung my files has support for smb share which is very important for me.
Samsung knox can protect your sensitive data if your phone gets stolen and unlocked with unofficial firmware.
Not everything is bloatware, some are really useful, and the UI is nice.

Also the lower-end flaghip models "Mi Lite" get this better support from Xiaomi. The cheap Redmi/Note devices (except some few very popular models which will get 2) will only get a single major Android update and 2-3 MIUI updates. The security update policy at Xiaomi is bad. Even Xiaomi flagships struggle to get them on time.
On the contrary, even the cheapest Samsung A and M will get 4 years of Security updates (quarterly for low and midrange & monthly for flagships) and 2 major android updates. From the mid-range models (A5x) and up, they will get 3 major Android updates.

Great to know that the new A52 will have IP67 rating. My previous A5 (2017) came with IP68 rating. Hope the new A52 comes with 8GB RAM / 256GB ROM for the Malaysian market just like the current A51 model.

What is the purpose of making so many identical phones? A32, A42, A52... They are practically same phones. Customers want a smaller phone. Give us a 6.0-6.2 screen phone, so that we can take it with us on a bike ride or mountaneering or anywhere.... I have no pockets for so big phones! And you do not bring your backpack on road cycling...
