You're probably comparing the Reno2 to some LG flagship from 2020 when they aren't even from the same year or tier...

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2021You are one of the few lucky ones! no mention of any date f... moreif India and Indonesia are getting it now, I think in a couple of weeks we'll have the update in the rest of the world, 5g versions being a carrier exclusive (at in in the UK) it's gonna take a couple more weeks to send it to the carrier and a couple of weeks more and we get the update.
I remember the update for the colorOS 7 came very late in July last year, I wouldn't be surprised if they're gonna delay it the same this year.
Oppo is good with so many things but not with software updates, and I know I'm picky but in Oppo's case the updates really make a difference.
the colorOS 6 that came with the phome was awful, almost didn't keep the phone, but after the colorOS 7 update I can't find a more appealing phone that I could upgrate to

great phone that came out of nowhere, I have the 5g version and it's been an incredible phone till this date, I tried upgrading to the note 20 ultra exynos and oneplus 8 pro and returned both because I couldn't get over the punch hole and curved screens. newer phones have less battery life too because of the 120hz displays.
How come a phone released in 2019 that wasn't praised by many have a better design and battery than a 2021 flagship?

Raul, 12 Mar 20212 years old and still has a better zoom camera than x3 proCos due to ban they really wanted to compete with biggie the Huawei p30 pro n take it's place. They have done grt job in design, iconic shark fin cam, flagship processor, grt cam hardware alongwith fantastic post processing at grt price.
Nowadays they just want to make money.. n follow the trend.

I had my reno 10x updated a month back with the same firmware number. Dont know if GSMArena is slow to report or I got it early as a gift from Oppo :D

Reno2 only starts to get Android 11 update right now, and it's not even the stable release? So much for glorifying LG's slow software update. At least LG managed to give a full stable release instead of beta. 🙄
