LG is the innovator, the 1st in all mobile department of modern touch screen phone. Am foregoing my Note 2 and placing OneX for sale to get this super-power-packed-machine.

Probably sure that international version will be much cheaper and the back cover design will also be changed. Its high price is not the pure price. its same like iPhone 5 is x99$ with 2 year contract. And at the back cover you may saw the "4G LTE" or round 'O' mark, the trade mark of the two big korean cell phone service provider, SKTelecom and KT, will be disappeared in intl ver.

AnonD-37951, 18 Sep 2012A real "Optimus" smartphone. Pricey much. It's pricey indeed. But I wonder how much will it be for an unlocked 32 Gb iPhone 5. With this one you're getting just so much more.

AnonD-57622, 18 Sep 2012Who cares if the LG doesn't update? Just root your damn pho... more-There arent many people know how to root and install custom rom
-If you are paying decent amount of money, the company should support your device at least 1 full year (Samsung is getting better at this)
-Do you even use android? go to xda forum, LG forums are nothing but pathetic
-Even for Samsung galaxy series (North America) gets nearly nothing comparing to European version (NO LTE Support)

That hardware with Windows Phone 8.
Not sure Microsoft would allow that power yet or even if it's needed.
Elop said no to lag and forced closes , that's why he is in charge and not the old Muppet.

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2012you don't have any custom roms with LG
see optimus 2x, b... moreI have to give it to you. You did your utter best to find the phones that lack custom Roms, where there is plenty of LG phones that got Custom Roms. Even the 'lowly' P500 Optimus One has some active ICS Custom Rom business going.
In any case, people that 'need' the newest update a day before it gets released might not like LG, but people that just want to have a functional phone with modern software, don't have to worry.

I held the 4X hd in my hands and it didn't feel to premium
the galaxy s3 is too common here in India and the sealed batteries of Sony xperia s and HTC one x don't really inspire any confidence in ME
please LG bring it to India and I shall buy it immediately

Please understan that with LG you would soon get in to trubble. When they begin to talk about upgrading to JB they lie about date and make the life completly misserable. They can make good and pretty cheep hardware but they are complete jerks about aftermarket. Sitting on an Optimus 2X im quite happy anyway coz of custom roms. Guess with the G, bootloader is locked and it would feel like rooting of an HTC legend (that is not a nice way) and will probably brick a few phones out there. An advice in the future: Stay away from LG if you want to have the latest and dont beleve a word they say (they hava been lyin since the release of my Optimus)
