Also the way consumers take care of their hardware has changed, many people throw their stuff around not caring about how much it costs compared to before

The Mi 9 lite was a big hit in the EU and Asia, while it was released with different names, The price was right, and you'd get a lot of phone for your $. I am still using mine! Xiaomi jumped on this flash fame and released the Mi-10 lite shortly after, with an elevated price tag. Consumers by this time had many choices in that price bracket, so the Mi10L was a failure according to many.
Hope Xmi is not going to make the same mistake again and will price the Mi-11 lite correctly.

Kinda sad, but it proves Xiaomi is part of the problem, other part are the people that keep doing the above.

Nice phone but BIG BUT, Xiaomi's practice of planned obsolescence is unacceptable. Battery drain & poor battery standby, deliberate lag, abandoning old phones. not a good practice, once you burn old bridges it's hard to repair. Good luck.

6.8 mm is impressively thin on today standart especially with 4100 mah battery but with such a tall phone I'm actually worried it would bend actually.

So they copied all the worst "features" of Iphone/Samsung smartphones, like the stupid curved edges and the countless sacrifices to make a slim phone... It's 2021, thankfully no one cares if it's slim anymore.

I bet it bends well as the larger and thinner things bend very well.
So basically you need a iron case for it just so you accidentally would not bend it.

I dont care if the phone would be thicker, at least maybe would lose the dumb camera bump and there for have more space for cooling and bigger battery. Even nicer be if they make the phone dimensions smaller and have like same amount of bezels as this one have for a 5.5 inch screen
