There is no auto-HDR that triggers to correct highlights or shadows, you have to do that manually. So again, Sony phones have the most accurate, true-to-life, straight-out-of-camera images compared to any smartphone out now. The only one that could measure up in today's standards for realistic look is the Lumia 950/950 XL.

    Xperia has extremely poor images in regular auto mode.
    Worst among flagships.

              If I set manually every Xperia I have till date the results would be the same even better. What's that special about these?! Who is Hasselblad?! The scenario is the only unique factor!

Even though some expensive phones are very nice and you can immediately feel the premium feeling on them, high quality materials and design are not enough to make a premium device. There are many other things that enter in that equation.
                          Besides nowadays, even though you can feel the difference between a 1000EUR phone and a 200EUR one, that difference is almost non-existent when you compare a 1000EUR phone with a 700EUR one for example. Maybe just better camera and an IP rating, lol.

                            Many people like u are defending DxOmark saying that Snapdragon variant will perform better than exynos variant which is true.

                            But u need to remember DxOmark both are exynos variants. Which shows how pathetic their testing of cameras is. Oneplus is doing a good job by not sending a unit. Other companies should follow this

                              Sony has had high priced quality phones for a long time. They are what they are. Reliable and good, maybe not to everybody's liking but they are consistent.
                              Chinese brands, be it BBK (and sub's) Xiaomi (and Subs) are all over the place with high specc'd low quality devices and now that they have phones that actually compete with Samsung, iPhone, Sony the prices are at the same level.

                              I hope this One+ 9 Pro is successful as it seems like a solid device and I'm glad it's at the price it's at. Pay for premium.

But from the functionality and practicality perspective, that's a whole different story, Xperia Pro shines that very well compared to those two, especially enormous-size RAW files (especially when iPhone still stuck on USB 2.0 and needs more dongle to work).
