If the OP9 pro is more than £900 it's simply not really competitive vs Samsung

Now those are more of the same, overpriced, featureless and worse support than before due to more models and messed software. From BBK only Vivo seems more interesting for now.

Early bird means you get it cheaper with free extras on top for the same price non early birds will get. Around €1100 will be the price for OnePlus 9 pro. Same price range with Oppo Find X3 pro both with LTPO curved displays with Adaptive refresh rate.

1111 EUR for a OnePlus ? Flagship killer my arse yeah ... I was interested but I don't want to spend 1000+ on OnePlus, sorry. If I go this route, I'll go Apple and I'm not the only one who thinks that.

Price, 15 Mar 2021Price seem insane, but what you might expect? All the flags... moreI'm not expecting a "china" price, but i simply expect a price that is around 10% cheaper than big brand like samsung or apple.
You don't pay just the hardware but everything around it.
So far Oneplus compared to Samsung has less aftermarket support like service centres , helplines etc (had to ship my OP6 to another country to get it repaired) and as much OP devices are getting more and more "complete" , they still are not "there" , the software support is only good the first 6-8 then you are basically left on your own and the hardware is still 100% fully flagship (skipping IP rating at times, wireless charging , joke camera sensors , camera software subpar).

Price seem insane, but what you might expect? All the flagships now go above 1000 price tag, forget about China prices for flagships.
Do you expect to get top tier specs and pay around 800? 9 Pro will have the best screen on the market together with other top specs, custom made sensors + Hasselblad (probably adds way to much to the price than it is worth it, but might be worth it in the future with 10 Pro when talk is about Bionic sensors and other camera tech), now talked additional warranty, 65W charger in the box and so on, everything stacks up.
Basically only periscope is missing and you would have top spec'ed out phone. How people expect to have it cheap? I mean even Xiaomi Mi 10 hit 1000 Euros in Europe last year.

I don't get why Oneplus always engage themselves in these marketing gimmicks rather than focusing on price reduction of their phone.

€1100 + I was right for the 9 pro. Meaning the OnePlus 9 will be €200 below bring it to €900 for a flat screen hell no. But good marketing strategy to sell their top tier OnePlus 9 pro flagship bravo OnePlus you have a good Marketing team 😁 wish I had €1k quid 😱
