Is 1080p blurry on a big 6.55" display ?
Jeez can't they just make a 6.1" flagship ? If next iPhones have high refresh rate screens it's gonna be hard not to jump ship. At least to me.

But even so, that doesnt matters because most, if not all, manufacturers use PWM on it, so the advantages are lost for some people sensitive to it.

It's a lot thinner than LCD and it heat can go through it a lot better. It also became a lot cheaper in last two years or so. That's why they use it. Image quality still can't touch top notch LCD display but those LCDs cost a lot of money as well.

A bezel is an entire row of dead pixels instead of just a hole, it's not better by any means. If the hole bothers a user so much, they can just disable it from the settings to get a virtual bezel up there. With a "real" bezel, one cannot disable the bezel to get the notification area to the top.
