The chooses made by hmd global
some are very good focus on battery life yes great

I think there a real good debate here about performance
is it ok or not on a budget phone

The nokia g10 a budget phone not the cheapest or as cheap as it should be
but it does also go on sale often
so keep this in mind

The MediaTek Helio P22 is a mid range chipset from 2018
The phone is on android 11 has now updated too android 12

I was thinking 3gb ram and the Helio P22 would be ok
however it seems too really be suffering on android 12
The phone runs stock AndroirdOne but still the chipset struggles

The phone runs kinda ok but it is not smooth and this will upset most buyers i think
also most people over pay for phones that don't help and will make this phone being not smooth or fast less easy too forgive

It seems the newer version of android are too resource heavily and just need
better specs and android 13 is going come next too the phone it don't look healthy too have such old hardware with such new os at least the os is up to date

I do wonder why people don't get the choose the OS that come with this phone
why not give buyers more options of AndroidOne or AndroidGo for the nokia g10

AndroidGo would run much better on the hardware here also you can easy side load apps from alternative app stores or even just use full versions of apps if you want too on AndroidGo

Am sure some people would also prefer AndroidOne even so it runs slow on this phone
there are some ways AndroidOne is better muti tasking comes too mind

This phone does have great power saving settings in options and really good battery life
Its just performance it is kinda bad

guys tell me what you think ?

Oh god. Some people learn from their mistakes. But this hmd is so stubborn they are learning to make new mistakes.
Damn why p22, 5g on sd480. Remove all the unnecessary stuff like additional cameras, make a 6"

                          P22 chipset for a 2021 smartphone ? Why not p10 or snapdragon s2.

Yikes. I use an Oppo F5, and even tho it has a 1080p display it also has the same lacklustre chipset: Helio P23. I hate it, it's become too slow over the years. (The only reason I'm holding on to this phone is coz I can't buy a new one at the moment.) I urge you to avoid this particular "new" entry-level phone from Nok– I mean HMD Global. That phone is going to be damn slow and outdated for 2021. Buy the Redmi 9T or Poco M3 instead

Absolutely normal budget phone. With 2 Android versions update guaranteed. If it was smaller, I would buy it, but it is same shovel as everyone else, no matter the screen is not as big as others.

                                Dead before arrival.

YUKI93, 16 Mar 2021This is definitely the 2.4 replacement. At least HMD Nokia ... moreof course people not using their camera everytime isnt? processor, battery is more important. p22 is 3 years old low end chip, if the price is $110 this is fine.

This device is proof that how a single important component can ruin the whole device

This is definitely the 2.4 replacement. At least HMD Nokia do give a better camera hardware on their entry-level smartphone.
