Honor was poorly available in Europe and USA. Too much embedded in China, not so cheap at all and far from Samsung or even Huawei. It is unlikely to repeat Huawei's success.

I think they did a good thing separating from Huawei. Another manufacturer is always welcomed in the market, even thou is one from China.
And if rumours are correct they will release phones with GMS. So, big plus for this.
