Anonymous, 17 Mar 2021Samsung promised 4 years security updates and 3 major os... moreI think, "4 years security updates and 3 major OS updates" policy applies ONLY for S-series and Note series phones and may be a couple of A-series phones and not for all of them. May be I am wrong... am not 100% sure, but I think I heard it like this.

e.g
s9 before 2019 only got 2 major os updates stuck at android 10 from 8 to 9 to 10
s10 after 2019 getting 3 major os from 9 to 10 to 11 to 12 updates so will go up to android 12 as it was released with 9 which same case for a70
and probably one ui 4.0
