In case anyone missed it, that's effin Windows XP in the computer monitor. No more security updates or support for that one. Of course this guy leaked the phone, the writing was already in the wall.

With the nature of folding, NOTHING folded won't leave crease, so since the start, Folding were a failed project.
What viable is 'flexible' & 'rollable'; flexible which could be use as watch replacement, placed in wrist whenever unused. But there are many technical problem for this, like parts which cannot be made flexible & case (frame as well)
Rollable is already few steps before final production; this is the one I want, as u own both tablet & phone at the same time. No need to buy ipad / galaxy tab!
With this, maybe OEM will stop making tall phones with absurd aspect ratio; LG's 18:9 is the limit for manageable aspect ratio, more than that, will look like a toy, instead of phone.
See Sony's 21:9 aspect ratio? The phone is ugly as hell; u can't put it anywhere in pocket!

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2021Samsung Note8, Note9, LG G5, G6, V20, V30, V40, V50, V60 ... moreI've owned a Nokia N8 built from anodised aluminium, a bright yellow Lumia 820 made from polycarbonate, a Moto X 2014 with a soft touch rubberised back and my latest phone is a Poco X3 NFC with a plastic back cover and they were all great materials for phones. I admit the first thing I do with all my phones is put it in a clear tpu case with a raised front lip and a screen protector so the screen gets some protection and you can still see the phone but it doesn't slip out of my hand when using it. Moto maker was a great way to customise your phone with different materials and colours too. Would love to see an android Nokia Lumia or bamboo backed Moto again instead of all the generic slabs released these days.

All of them have similar beck design to Nokia 920, while the front design pretty much the same; either have small bezel, slim bezel, or notch.

Well, many people not; simply because they don't look like iphones!!
When Poco F1 came out, MILLIONS of people bashing & mocking it.
Why? because it has polycarbonate back (which scientifically proven to be better than Glass in absorbing impact) !!
When Sony keep their 'boxy' design for years, how many people mocking them because of that? MILLIONS!
...and Here u say that u 'would love to see a return to Nokia Lumia 820/920 design' when Sony's boxy design, Poco F1's polycarbonate back, and Lumia 820/920 back design were either mocked, laughed, or not apreciated...

If the fold releases like this or any other look of a fold if it doesn't sell well in China Xiaomi will stop its support in no time.
