By the look of it, the A52 will not be avail in Canada, only the A52 5G, I may just have to go to EU to get the phone I want, like I did last year.

What I need from Samsung to consider buying their phones.
LESS bloatware.
MORE support, like 4-5 years of support for the OS.

heavier, slower, no side mounted fingerprint reader, I will wait for Galaxy A72 5G or A82, they may powered by Snapdragon 775. I think Samsung intentionally use a slow chip to make people think that Snapdragon are not better than Exynos, because the A51 last year and the M62, F62 this year use Exynos. Samsung company sell all types of product: fridge, air conditioner, washing machine, tv, phone, laptop, ssd... and none of them is better than other brands except for their ssd. They just do marketing alot to make their products seems better

I like the Galaxy A52 5G, but will wait for a review (I'm particularly interested in the camera, the main one). If it's no good, I'll wait for A72 5G or A82 or whatever has a better camera while keeping most of the hardware (and price) similar. Looking at specs alone, it has a nice combination of features. I just want to be sure it won't be a downgrade from my current device (galaxy s7). If the camera is significantly worse than, say, Xiaomi 10T Lite 5G, I may buy that one instead (it doesn't have OIS, AMOLED and is a bit cheaper).

As of now the A52 4g is the best choice because 5g tech will not be available everywhere in the country until 2years from now ? 5g is just a marketing propaganda at this time ! 2 years from now there will be new phones ! Do not fall in the trap of 5g !

looks like i'm the minority here. but a72 is the one for me. i'm sold with the 3x zoom alone. of course samsung updates are a big part of my decision on chosing this phone, but i'll gladly spend more for a better camera.

Even if samsung offers 10 years of software updates, ip68 and so on, as long as we are talking about a phone with mere sd750 it can never be a better value than xiaomi mi 10t. It's that simple.

It just proved true again since the Note 10 series got the most pathetic IP rating possible, only shows that Xiaomi unable/unwilling to manufacture phones with sufficient build quality.

I live in The Czech Republic, and even here we don't have full 4G coverage, and in places where it is, many times it is still very weak.
5G offers higher traffic in the network, but it would be flooded with data of IoT, so in fact... no use for phones.

But if we had and my device was 5G, I would turn it off and just use 4G.
I do not think it is necessary speed 10 or 20x faster than internet ppl have at home.
50Mbps is more than enough to stream 4K movies, playing online on computer/console, uploding content on youtube.
Having more than 1200Mbps on phone seems too unnecessary.

Honestly, I think Galaxy A52 5G is the best option of all three not because of its 5G connectivity as we don't have that technology in India now, but because of better performance, graphics and 120Hz screen. Also, we are lucky this time that Samsung didn't release Exynos versions. Otherwise, we would have to settle with inferior experience.

G8x is old phone. No longer software support.
Old electronics have harder hardware support because components are no longer made. If something happens, you may have to accept generic parts.
I know someone that needed a new screen. They put screen from another model on the phone. Another screen with same size. But lower resolution.
