Anonymous, 24 Mar 2021i dont think so... dxomark is legendary when it comes to &... moreHmm, many of us aren't commenting on objectivity but subjectivity about a raised issue involved in any review. DisplayMate and DXOMARK are standard studios to give more accurate results than what we all think would be the best (personal opinion). As the reviewer pointed out of shortfall on the part off DisplayMate in their review but this was optimized with their machines and tools to get this measurements and not a random picks like Gsmarena and others.

Is there anyone who still believes that dxomark and diplaymate are not paid for their reviews? It is so tragic that there are no one on internet that you can count on in terms of reliability....

Whackcar, 24 Mar 2021The same amount that Samsung & Apple pays. Your point?I think it is the other way around: how much Oppo, Oneplus and Apple pay Samsung to develop and build them these displays?

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2021How do you score more than 100% for color accuracy? It... moreBecause the DCI colour range is much narrower than sRGB. It's a standard studios came up with to get consistent colours in film and make it easier for cinemas to show movies properly.

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2021How do you score more than 100% for color accuracy? It... morebecause the color space doesn't cover all the colors, srgb contains less than hdr related color space and adobe requires more. to cover adobergb u would cover more than srgb contains. therefore >100%

Anonymous, 24 Mar 2021DisplayMate is a same joke as DxOMark, everyone knows OnePl... morei dont think so...
dxomark is legendary when it comes to "joke" ha ha
i believe people at bbk electronics made a good calibration here, though i must wait for some of my favorite youtubers, or even gsmarenas review...
one thing that displaymate is not checking though, is the consistency of displays as time passes by... i cannot remember which phones showed green tint a month after release or less, and one of those phones is oneplus 8 pro...

AnonD-986036, 24 Mar 2021For tech people, it is great. But for the average consumers... morePeople can tell apart from 60hz and 120hz but not between 60 and 90 or 90 or 120 or 120 and 144 and they sure can see the brightness difference other all I agree

Nearly a thousand dollars for a phone with an 'almost perfect' screen, a 'good enough' camera and audio? Why are we accepting this?!
