It's the same device as the recently launched Oppo A94 and the F19 Pro in India.

This is especially true of the Chinese brands, I honestly can't keep up with the amount of phones that seem to fly off the production line with ever more confusing naming. This doesn't make the phone you bought suddenly an outdated brick, I own the Poco X3 NFC and it hasn't become a piece of junk just because the pro version has come out. I get that it can seem a bit devious by these companies to get you upgrading every 5 minutes but that's because they are a business to make as much money as possible and if them marketing a latest and greatest not long after you buy a phone gets you to either sell or return your almost new purchase then that is what advertising is designed to do. Sorry if all that seems a bit long winded but what I'm trying to say in a nutshell is buy the phone you like the look of and then enjoy it even if a new model comes out in 6 months. That's the nature of technology unfortunately but don't be fooled into thinking you suddenly own a dud when in reality you've got a perfectly good phone that will last you a good few years.

I watched a preview of the phone in Youtube (it's not yet released in my country) and many new X3 NFC ownes expressed those feelings. But I think they can't really be blamed, most of them are non-tech nerds who don't follow news about phone world closely in the first place, they may not hear the upcoming phones before.

But I agree, it's a matter of viewpoint. X3 NFC isn't itself a bad phone in any means, it's still a great phone on its own even if it may be outclassed by the new X3 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro this year.

The question is will oppo give Android update to all this Varian/rebrand ?

In my opinion the phone that literally changed the game in recent times regarding specs to price is the Poco X3 NFC. I'm so glad I purchased that phone and even now with the avalanche of phones that's been released since it's still got the best set of specs and is now even cheaper. Some folks prefer amoled screens but I personally don't and the IPS LCD screen for me is a plus not a negative. I've seen comments from folks pannicking after buying the X3 thinking they've made a big mistake but I wouldn't swap mine as it performs brilliantly and does everything I want and more. I love what Xiaomi/Poco are doing with their phones and don't understand the negativity they get for releasing well specced phones for amazing prices. I'll definitely be looking at what they release in a couple of years time when 5g is much more widespread but for now I'm more than happy with the Poco X3 NFC being 4g only.

World would be a better place without these Oppo's, Vivo's, Realme's and other BarBeKue's.
Oneplus can stay, but i'll be watching them.

it is also a rebranded A94, but with NFC

oppo is taking this whole rebranding to a whole new level, usually it just one rebrand but not them, they do it up to 4 times.
